- Is my bike under warranty
If you purchased your HZE Vectrix before the 1st October 2009 and wish to know it is under warranty, please fill out the warranty form and HMC will advise you on your status.
- Do I have a choice of colours?
Yes, normally up to six colour choices: blue, red, green, silver, black, white, and burgundy.
- Where can I get technical assistance?
To get technical assistance fill out the support from with your question and a technical advisor will contact you shortly.
- My range per charge is too low.
If you feel you are not getting enough milage from your bike then please fill out the support from with your question and a technical advisor will contact you shortly.
- Where can I get spare parts from?
If you need a part for your bike then please fill out the spare parts form located under support and a technical advisor will contact you shortly.
- My bike will not charge fully.

- What is the range on one charge?
Range is very much dependent upon driving habits. The HZE-Vectrix is designed as a city commuting vehicle, and as such you should experience 35 to 55 miles (56-89 km) of range on a single charge. This is also dependent on additional weight (gear) or an additional passenger will affect range. *HZE-Vectrix only.
- How long does it take to charge?
Recharge time is approximately 2.5 hours for an 80% charge. it will take between 3 to 5 hours for a full charge.
- Is the HZE-Vectrix a motorbike or scooter?
Short Answer: the HZE Vectrix is a Maxi-Scooter. It features many of the performance and dimension characteristics of a motorcycle with the styling of a 'step through' bike.
- How do I charge My Electric Bike?
Simply open the trunk, pull out the charging cord and plug into any standard electrical 110V or 220V outlet to quickly charge the batteries through a sophisticated on-board charger. Pull into your garage or any other convenient location with an outlet, plug it in and charge it up! It's that simple.
- What is the Cost per Mile?
The bikes have a capasity of 3.7 Killer watt per hour, assuming you pay a standard rate for your electricity supply the bike willnot cost you more than a penny per mile.
- Is my bike allowed on the motorway?
HZE-Vectrix: Maxi-Scooter - Yes
HZE-ZeroX: Off-Road Bike - No

- How often do I need to service the bike?
Recommended service is typically twice per year however for the first year, this will occur after 30 days and then every 6 months.
- Does acceleration affect range?
Acceleration is the rate which you are attempting to increase the speed of your bike. The greater the acceleration the faster you are depleting the energy in the battery pack. The harder and more frequently you accelerate the more adversely you will affect the range of your scooter. Being "first off the line" means you will also be the first to drain your energy supply.
- Does weight affect range?
In short yes: The more mass you are pushing/lifting the more energy it takes to accomplish the mission. Avoid keeping unnecessary items in your scooter since it will impact your range.
- What is the Bikes maximum speed?
All bikes that are motorway legal have a restricted top speed of 62 mph/ 100 km/h.
- What is the bikes acceleration rate?
0-50 mph (80 km/h) - 6.8 seconds; 0-31 mph (50 km/h) - 3.6 seconds.
